Moda Builds is a residential building company based on the Bellarine Peninsula, servicing surrounding areas with expertise in new builds, renovations, and extensions. 

At Moda we believe perfection occurs when an individual looks around a space and they can see that every detail has been carefully considered during the build process, no matter how big or how small. 

We believe that open and transparent communication is a critical requirement for a successful business operation, that results in the building process being a positive and satisfying experience for not only the client but also for Moda Builds.  

We also believe that being aware of the ever evolving elements of design, materials and building practices enables us to continually improve our home construction processes for our clients.  

Moda Builds Founders - Hugh O’Brien & Tom Jackson

We have over twenty years of experience in the residential building industry, working solely with custom architectural projects. We are both qualified carpenters who have a love of natural timber products and the craftsmanship that comes with this medium can be seen in our projects.  

Whilst Moda Builds has grown into a registered building company, we have stayed true to our carpentry roots by taking a hands-on approach. Building is our passion so you can expect to see both of us with a tool-belt on throughout any build we undertake.  

We have a desire for Moda to have a place in our clients lives, not just for the project at hand but also for any future projects. We want to be the builder you come back to because as life changes so will the spaces in which you live. So our aim is to develop long-term relationships and be there to build homes to cater for all stages of your life.
